Privacy policy

The short version

This calculator runs entirely in your browser. The weight, life stage, and food details you enter into the calculator are never sent anywhere — the math happens on your device and disappears when you close the page. The only personal information we ever receive is what you choose to type into the contact form.

What we collect

If you submit the contact form, we receive the name, email address, subject, and message you typed in. That submission is processed by our hosting provider's form-handling service (Netlify Forms) and delivered to us — we don't run our own database or mailing list, and we don't add you to any newsletter or marketing list. We use that information only to read and, where appropriate, reply to your message.

The contact form includes a hidden spam-trap field that real visitors never see or fill in; submissions that fill it in are treated as spam and discarded automatically.

What we don't collect

We don't use cookies, don't run visitor analytics, and don't have any advertising or tracking scripts active on this site. The calculator itself doesn't store, transmit, or log the dog or food details you enter — nothing about your calculations is retained by us in any form.

Third parties

The only third party involved in handling data on this site is our hosting provider (Netlify), which processes contact-form submissions on our behalf as described above. We don't share, sell, or otherwise pass on any information you submit to any other party.

Your rights

You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, at any time — simply use the contact form to make the request, referencing the message you originally sent.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes — for example, if we later introduce analytics or advertising — we'll update this page and the "last updated" date above.
